Description
Description Complete unit consisting of a Simmerring and an integrated running surface. Economical system solution with integrated labyrinth to protect against extreme soiling. The integrated running surface meets the high demands placed on dynamic seals. * Lengthening of maintenance interval for individual units* Shaft must not be hardened or ground* Old solution can usually be replaced by Simmerring Cassette* Seal without change to housing* The shaft must not be machined on maintenance or seal replacement Application Agricultural machineryHarrowsTillersFertiliser spreading machineryMotorised cultivators Materials Nitrile Butadiene Rubbe (NBR)Temperature | ≤ +80 °C |

NBR
Nitrile rubber (NBR) is the general term for acrylonitrile-butadiene copolymer. The ACN content can vary between 18% and 50%. While the acrylonitrile content is important, the resistance to oil and fuel is more so. Conversely, the elasticity and compression set are not as good. The NBR has good mechanical properties and good wear resistance. However, its resistance to atmospheric agents and the ozone is relatively low.
